WHAT TO EXPECT

We would love for you to be our guest one Sunday! However, we know you might have some questions before you come.

What will service be like?

Our worship service starts at 10:45 a.m. and is held in the sanctuary. Our service will begin with a time of worship lead by our worship pastor. Our worship team will play music and sing. There will be a message by Pastor David Brown that is encouraging and Christ-centered. The service will end with a time of worship and prayer. Service typically lasts 60 to 75 minutes.

How early should I get there?

You should plan on getting to the service about 15 minutes early. This will allow you time to park and get your children to their classrooms before service begins. We will have greeters at the front entrance that can guide you to the needed area.

What is the atmosphere like at Center Grove?

Our church is a very welcoming and loving. We have a wide variety of people who attend our church: families, singles, married with no kids, senior adults, divorced, widowed, professionals, workers, retired. No matter who you are or where you are coming from, there is a place for you here at Center Grove. We are relaxed and dress casual here at Center Grove.

What do I do with my kids?

We welcome families! During morning service, we offer classes for nursery-2nd grade. During this time your child will sing, do activities, and hear a message. We understand that leaving your kid somewhere new can feel overwhelming! As a safety precaution all of our teachers/volunteers have background checks on record. If you prefer your child stay with you in the sanctuary, that is fine too!
During Sunday evening service we do not offer any nursery or children classes in the evening. We encourage families to worship together in the sanctuary.

Do I have to give money?

We have offering boxes located throughout the building for those who want to give. However, you should not feel obligated to give.

Where do I park and enter the building?

You will want to park in one of the parking lots at the front of the church. You are welcome to choose any empty spot. If all the spots located at the front of the church are full, we have additional parking located on both sides of the education building (the building directly behind the church).

What denomination is the church?

Center Grove is part of the Southern Baptist Convention.
